Over the years we have conducted over thirty successful Brown Bear hunts using archery equipment. These hunts are conducive only to the very experienced bow hunter. The ability to remain relaxed and make a good clean shot are crucial. Bears are extremely strong animals and are not taken easily. In order to ensure a successful harvest, a bear must be double lunged, nothing else will suffice. That being said many of our Bears taken with a bow are shot under fifteen yards, and a large number being taken ten yards and less, the closer the better. 

 

Due to the topography, and feeding habits of the bears, all of our archery hunts are conducted in the fall.
